                               RESOLUTION NO. 18948
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO
                   CONTRACT WITH EUGENE BOWMAN, APPRAISER, TO
                   PERFORM AN APPRAISAL OF TWO (2) TRACTS
                   RELATIVE TO WIDENING OF CHESTNUT STREET
                   BEHIND THE TIVOLI THEATRE, FOR A TOTAL
                   AMOUNT OF TWO THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($2,000.00).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to contract with
       Eugene Bowman, Appraiser, to perform an appraisal of two tracts
       relative to the widening of Chestnut Street behind the Tivoli
       Theatre, for a total amount of $2,000.00, which amount includes
       $1,000.00 for the appraisal of two tracts, and an estimate of 
time
       spent in preparation for condemnation as well as appearance as an 

       expert witness in court at a cost of $1,000.00.
